New years eve an approx 2m Bronze Whaler was caught in our Mullet net.
It was eventually freed from the net and released unharmed back into the ocean with a round of applause from half the campground that turned up to watch the action.
The kids were back swimming in the water less than an hour later!
The net also survived and produced plenty of mullet each morning for the rest of our holiday.
We also caught another 1m Bronze Whaler on the long line, which was also released successfully, which was just as well because it had tangled the long line around one of the props and I had to go swimming to free it!
